You will be working towards the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy, which will mean completing units such as 'ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risk to health & safety', 'promote additional services or products to clients', 'develop and maintain your effectiveness at work', 'provide facial skin care', 'enhance the appearance of eyebrows and lashes', 'carry out waxing', 'provide manicure & pedicure', 'fulfil reception duties' & 'provide make-up services' as well as additional credits to make up your full diploma. Depending on your GCSE grades you will study towards a functional skills Level 1 in Maths and English, as well as receiving Employment Rights and Responsibilities training.

About this course
Apprentices will attend Highbury Campus, Tudor Crescent, Portsmouth PO6 2SA for the taught element of their programme and to sit theory exams. The rest of the time will be spent learning skills on the job with their employer.
