Course Content
5 mandatory units, 2 optional.
By attending college you will build up knowledge to assist in completing assignments set by your tutor working through units of the course. This will go towards creating evidence for your portfolio.
In the school placement you will work alongside the teacher and other staff to build up the relevant skills and knowledge required for the role.
How will I be assessed?
There is no exam. You will be assessed throughout the course with your college tutor assessing at the end of a completed assignment to see if you have successfully completed and have shown in your work sufficient knowledge to be competent.
For the practical side of the course you will be assigned as assessor who will assess your competence through methods such as observation, discussions and witness statements.
