Description of the Course
There are more than 32 million vehicles on the UKs roads, and we need plenty of technicians to keep them running. Motor vehicle technicians service, repair and replace parts of all types of vehicles, from mopeds to lorries.As an apprentice, you could work for a dealership and focus on a particular manufacturer, or work for an independent garage that deals with all different makes. In both, youll choose your area of specialisation, whether thats motorcycles or vehicle electrical systems. Youll be carrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs, as well as identifying and reporting faults.

Who is the course for?
Anyone working a minimum of 16 hours per week paid employment in the Motor Vehicle trade.
Entry requirements
An average of Grade D in English and Maths GCSEs or you will have successfully completed al Level 1 programme. You may also be asked to demonstrate your commitment and skills in an interview. If you don't have the required entry qualifications there will be an opportunity to demonstrate your abilities to undertake the course.

Other information
This course, at the moment, incurs no fees for 19+ and Adult Apprentices.
Car Park fee £1.00 per visit, stay subject to spaces being available.
