Course programme

An Apprenticeship is a national work-based training programme designed for individual industries. Apprenticeships are a great way of earning and learning at the same time.

The Apprenticeship scheme is divided into three levels, Intermediate, Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships. The level of Apprenticeship you undertake will depend on previous experience, ability and the job role you're working in.
You will work towards a number of qualifications designed to help you achieve the skills you need to succeed in your chosen career.

Advanced Apprenticeship:
NVQ Level 3 in Surveying and Property Maintenance

There are a number of exams throughout the programme along with short Key Skills tests from which you may be exempt if you have the appropriate GCSEs.
A Training Advisor will work with you and your employer to review your progress throughout the Apprenticeship. Progress reports will be given to your employer by your tutors. Your full commitment to the Apprenticeship is essential. It is important you take ownership for your own learning by seeking out opportunities to gain new skills on the job with your employer. Tutors are on hand to guide and support you with your training and attendance at College sessions are essential.
