What qualifications do I need to study on the course?
You will need at least 5 grade Cs at GCSE and it is recommended that you have a grade C in GCSE Art.

What will I study?
If you want to concentrate solely on Art - including gaining a greater understanding of working within the art world this could be the course for you. Equivalent to three AS/AGCE courses the National Diploma in Art will not only give you an insight into a range of materials and techniques, you will also complete an annual week long work placement allowing you to further understand and gain experience of vocational issues within the art field.
If you're considering a career within art whether your interests are Fine Art, Photography, 3-D, print or graphics this is the ideal place to start.

Many students go on to study an art foundation course and then access Higher Education.
