What will I study?
This course will give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and investigate a range of public services topics including: · Outdoor and adventurous expeditions.
· Team leadership.
· Understanding the criminal justice system and police powers.
· War and emergency planning.
In addition to classroom based study the course includes outdoor activities including a week's residential visit, personal fitness training and visits to various Public Services Organisations.

Method of assessment
You will be assessed on this course via a variety of practical, work-based assessments. There are no exams on this course.

What will I be able to progress to?
A natural progression is to enter employment in the public services although many also enter Higher Education to study a Public Service related course such as Law, Criminology, Sport and many others..
