Level 3 : AS/A Level Computing (OCR)

Who is the course for?
Students coming in with standard A level entry requirements, including a minimum grade 'C' in Maths and English, and having a genuine interest in the technical side of Computing. Given the high technical content of this course, we would expect students taking this subject to also be taking A-Level Maths and/or Physics.

This course is particularly suitable for students seeking a career in computer systems, software engineering or other branches of engineering. Students who wish to develop a comprehensive set of advanced IT application skills, useful for a range of future study and career options, should choose the Applied ICT course.
