About this course

You will learn the principles of assessments as well as the practical skills, strategies and methods involved in assessing. You will also learn how to complete assessment paperwork and meet National standards.

This qualification is for individuals who would like to pursue a career in assessing vocationally related qualifications within the active leisure sector. It is suitable for programme managers, studio coordinators, experienced fitness instructors and any one who would like to help raise the standards in the fitness industry.

Candidates will need to have industry experience and hold a nationally recognised qualification in the subject area that they wish to assess and aged 18 or over
