Level 3 Award in Education and Training (Active IQ)

Students will learn how to plan and deliver a structured programme of learning, how to evaluate learning sessions, the principles of education, training and assessment, and how to use a variety of teaching methods.

This qualification is for people who want to pursue a career in teaching in Further Education. It is also suitable for programme managers, studio coordinators, experienced fitness instructors and anyone wanting to teach in any industry as this is a generic qualification

Candidates will need to have industry experience and hold a nationally recognised qualification in the subject area that they wish to teach.

You will be required to complete some worksheets and write some essays. You will also be asked to do a micro-teaching session and do an evaluation using reflective learning.

You will need to attend two training days.
