Based on a one-day training programme, this qualification is designed to ensure candidates develop the required knowledge and practical skills to implement a HACCP plan in their workplace. Candidates are assessed by assignment that requires the development of a HACCP plan. Suitable for: There are no pre-requisites for this qualification, although candidates should have a sound knowledge of food safety, hazards and their controls. It is strongly advised that candidates already hold the Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering or equivalent and also have a minimum of level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
