Following successful completion of the course students may either progress onto our part-time HNC in Engineering or other Higher Education studying at degree level and we have contact with several local universities offering relevant courses. Students may also gain employment within the industry and there may be a possible of continuing your studies at the college to National Diploma Level.

You will study the following core subjects:
- Health, Safety and Welfare in Construction and the Built Environment
- Construction and the Environment
- Mathematics in Construction and the Built Environment
- Science and Materials in Construction and the Built Environment
- Building Services Control Systems
- Building Services Science
You will also study another 6 subjects from the following disciplines:
- Electrical Installation Design
- Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Plumbing The course is mainly assignment based, with some on site inspections, project work and problem solving cenarios, all related to building services design system You will look at all aspects of design including; product specification, planning, building regulations and environmental issues, in connection with the areas of Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
You will also undertake practical tasks and activities as required within the classroom or our brand new technology workshops.
