Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Acting

What will you be learning?
This course can lead to careers in acting, directing, stage management, theatre design, teaching, community arts industries or work as a theatre technician.

Practical projects form the majority of the course and are based around units such as: Acting; directing; jazz dance; drama improvisation and performing arts business.

You will be assessed by coursework based on a mix of practical performance-based projects and theory-based work and an end-of-year performance.

What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto an HND course in performing arts-related areas, or courses at RADA, LAMDA and the Central School of Speech and Drama.
