The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement course is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment)
There are on-site assessments involved in this course, and we are fully flexible in facilitating these to your preference. As part of the on-site assessments you are required to be observed assessing a minimum of two candidates, if you have a colleague in the workplace that holds an assessor qualification, they can observe you although you would need to provide us with a copy of their certificate.With many parts of this course being available you are required to attend a couple of days of workshops a within the course.

About this course

This accredited qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, including NVQ apprenticeships. On successful completion of this course you will become a qualified assessor.

On successful completion of this course, the learner will achieve a UK recognised, fully accredited qualification/certificate – Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)

We facilitate the course online through an e-learning portal which allows you to work through the course at your own pace; with easy access to tutors and the helpdesk to ease your progression.

On-site assessments involved in this course we included in all prices.

There are 3 mandatory units in the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. These are:

  • Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
  • Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
  • Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding

It is supported learning with access to a tutor daily, 24hr feedback responses and full course information provided on your e-learning portal.

There are on-site assessments involved in this course, and we are fully flexible in facilitating these to your preference.

Additional information

This course can be delivered internationally, we have extensive quality assurance systems, and all our courses delivered overseas are subject to the same standards as those taught within the UK. You must have a qualified assessor in the workplace to complete your required observations, they must have an UK recognised assessor qualification or equivalent. You will also have daily access to our tutor support team here in the UK, they are available, Monday to Friday via email and telephone.
