Course programme

The qualification is made up of mandatory and optional units. Learners must achieve a minimum of 13 credits through 4 units of study.
There are 2 mandatory units:

"Improving your own management and leadership performance"
The 2 remaining units are taken from a selection of options and may be tailored to the requirements of the learner.
"Managing the delivery of customer service"
"Recruiting and Selecting Staff"
"Appraising and developing staff"
"Supporting organisational change initiatives"
"Principles of budgets and financial information"
"Principles of project management"
"Developing working relationships with team members"
"Health and safety risk assessment in your team"
"Coaching skills in team leading and management"
"Envireonmental and ethical issues in management"
"Managing physical resources."
To complete each unit, learners will submit an assignment for assessment.
