• Level 2 Diploma in Complementary Therapies or NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy with a satisfactory reference

Entry is subject to a successful interview and tutor reference. You will need to buy the salon uniform and equipment.

Content
You will develop a variety of skills including Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Body Massage, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies, Healthy Eating, Business Practice and Health and Safety. You may also have the opportunity to take additional qualifications.

Assessment
Continual assessment through a combination of practical salon sessions, end tests, oral questions, assignments and a portfolio of evidence.

Progression This course will prepare you for Higher Education or employment in salons, hotel and health farms/spas, department stores and cruise liners. Work Experience
Students develop their skills in the salons on campus and in local salons.
