Level 3 Diploma/NVQ Plastering

The Level 3 NVQ in Plastering has been developed for delivery in a working environment, this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. it has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work in brick within the construction industry.

The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge in 6 mandatory units:
•Work activities and resources for Occupational work areas
•Developing and maintain good occupational working relationships in the workplace
•Confirming the occupational method of work in the workplace
•Conforming to general health and safety, safety and welfare in the workplace
•Producing complex internal solid plastering finishes in the workplace
•Producing complex external rendering finishes in the workplace

The learner will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in one of the following optional units:
•Installing direct bond dry linings in the workplace
•Installing mechanically fixed plasterboard in the workplace
•Running in-situ mouldings in the workplace
