During your study you will cover a range of knowledge and skills across areas including domestic hot and cold water systems, central heating systems, sanitation systems, environmental technologies and matters of gas safety.All of the subjects areas in theory will be assessed by awarding body on line exams and assignments. The practical skills you learn will also be assessed against relevant standards.Learning takes place in the workplace, classroom and workshop. Students will take part and contribute in theory lessons, and then have the opportunity to consolidate this learning hands-on in the workshops and in the workplace. The practical work is essential, and enables you to gain concrete experience in the workplace. It will also provide evidence of competence.
