Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient art of working specific areas of the feet to balance the body and bring about homeostasis. (homeostasis is where the physical and mental body are working in harmony)
It is becoming recognised by medical practitioners as a therapy that can work alongside conventional medicine.
On the course all materials will be provided. Instruction book, foot charts, consultation forms, various handouts on related matters, towels, couches, chairs and various massage mediums.
Students will have work to do at home and must be prepared to set aside an hour or so an evening for this.
Students will be expected to practice reflexology at home, therefore must arrange for willing volunteers to practice their skills and then write a detailed case study on each volunteer
The cost of the full course is £850.00. This includes all exam fees
The cost of the bridging course is £300.00
Students will need to register with the AoR and the cost is approximately £36.00
Registration to the AoR will take place on the first day of the course.
Students will also need to purchase a uniform top at a cost of £15.00. The next Reflexology Course is in February 2009. If you would like to enrol on the course please do so by end of December as places fill up quite quickly.
