Course programme
This programme is designed for individuals interested in modern media production, such as digital graphics, game design, DVD authoring, 2D and 3D animation, stop motion animation, motion graphics and 3D modelling. During the programme you will create both a 2D and 3D computer game suitable for a host of technologies including mobile phones, PCs, Macs, Xbox 360, PS3 and many more. You will also create instructional and entertainment based video productions, each with digital special effects.
In addition, as a Microsoft IT Academy Program Member, we are able to offer Microsoft certification alongside many of our units of study.
Throughout the programme you will learn the techniques and skills required and used by industry. You will learn from lecturers with experience using the software and tools that industry use.

Units are selected each year that reflect the skill shortages in the industry so may change slightly from those listed above.The programme is taught through lectures, practical sessions, seminars, group work and the use of the Internet for research. Students will be assessed by a variety of methods including written and practical learning.
