· What are the objectives of this course?
Career Opportunities The career opportunities available to sport and exercise scientists are expanding all the time and this expansion appears likely to continue for the foreseeable future. Most sports now recognise sports science as an integral part of their sport’s development and success and most athletes consider the application of sport science as an important part of everyday training and competition. Previous students' career progressions have included careers in teaching, a sports performance analyst in New Zealand and the physiotherapists at Leeds United.
· Who is it intended for?
This course is intended for full time students (school leavers 16-18 year olds).
Entry Requirements Five GCSEs (or their equivalent) at grade A* - C, including Maths, English Language and at least one from PE, IT or a Science. Alternatively, Level 2 Diploma in Sport at Distinction grade, plus Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
