This course will prepare you for employment or university in the health or care field and occupations, for example, Nursing (all branches – Mental Health, Learning Disability, Children’s and Adult), Audiology, Speech and Language Therapy, Midwifery, Radiography (Diagnostic and Therapeutic), Chiropractice, Dental Hygiene Degrees, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy. This course also leads to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) pogrammes in Biomedical Science, Forensic Science/Criminology, and Pharmaceutical Science, Food Technology, Nutrition and Veterinary Nursing. Students have also entered Primary and Secondary Teaching programmes in the UK. This course is equivalent to a maximum of 420 UCAS points and is a well recognised progression to university. This qualification will give you an insight into these careers and allow you to explore the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to gain a place at university or in employment.
