About this course
To be working at the relevant level of engagement working directly with clients and case load management, possessing the experience and knowledge to complete both mandatory and optional units as chosen.
The Level 4 NVQ Diploma is aimed at experienced practitioners who work directly with clients, disseminating information, advice and guidance and formal advocacy. Prospective learners may also some have managerial or training responsibilities and could be creating information, advice and guidance publications. Learners also have to show that they have dynamic relationships with other organisations.
You must be in a senior advisory role in order to fulfil and meet the criteria specified within the qualification. You must have case load management responsibilities in order to pass some modules listed.
Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Advice and Guidance (QCF)
This course is an exceptional course to undertake for any senior practitioner or employees whom are managing case loads and client engagement. This course will give you the necessary skills and recognition for working directly with clients providing advocacy advice, mediation and guidance in a formal setting and should be a pre-requisite for any person undertaking this role.
Once payment has been received you will be booked in for an indicate into the programme. You will then be allocated a nominated assessor who will see you every 3-4 weeks to carry out assessments within the workplace. Your evidence will be gathered and obtained within your workplace and competence and performance will be demonstrated against the criteria set within the qualification specification.

Mandatory units

- Understand the importance of legislation and procedures
Observation of your practice in the workplace by your assessor is an essential assessment component of this qualification and will contribute to generating evidence for both the mandatory units and some of the optional units.
Optional units
The remaining 20 credits have to be achieved by taking a number of optional units. Nine credits have to be taken at level 4.
