Level 4 (OCR) V1 Internal Verifier Award

NVQs are subject to quality assurance or ‘internal verifying'. Internal verifiers sample NVQ candidates to confirm that a high level of assessment is taking place, conduct observations of their assessors, and are often the main liaison between training centres and awarding bodies.

The Level 4 Award in Conducting Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process (also referred to as the V1 award) is required to become an internal verifier. The Environmental Academy can deliver the V1 award to any assessor interested in furthering their learning and development and ultimately their career prospects in the NVQ field.

Learning Methods

You will be invited to 1 half day workshop followed by 4 half day work place visits with your assessor.

Assessment Methods

You will be assessed through observation of your work as an assessor or verifier, workplace visits and a portfolio of evidence.
