Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training (QCF)

Units covered:

• Planning, delivering and evaluating inclusive teaching and learning
• Assessing learning in education and training
• Understanding theories, principles and models in education and training; and
• Understanding professionalism and the influence of professional values in education and training.
• The optional units offer a wide range of options including action research, understanding and managing behaviours in a learning environment, literacy or numeracy theories and frameworks and engaging with employers.

Minimum Qualification and Entry Level Requirements

You should be qualified to Level 3 or be able to demonstrate Level 3 skills in the subject that you intend to teach, have access to a minimum of 100 teaching practice hours and possess reasonable levels of language, literacy, numeracy and ICT.

The course Consist a minimum of 100 hours of teaching practice hours based in the candidate’s own work environment.
