Tutor/Head of Training

Sylvia is an experienced tutor in all levels of BSL. She has recently acheived her NVQ4 in BSL Qualification and is currently undertaking her A1 training programme. Since April 2010 she has been in the position of Head of Training at Sign Solutions.

Course programme

Course review:.

This flexible and focused programme combines group sessions, 1:1 tutorials and assessment. The award consists of 2 Units; one receptive and one productive. Together these units demonstrate an ability to use BSL in a range of work-related settings.

The programme comprises tutor/assessor contact time and includes opportunities to practice skills and to collect some of the range of evidence required (real and simulated) and there is also a generous allocation of assessment time, enabling participants to meet with their assessors at regular intervals.

The Level 6 NVQ Certificate in BSL (Language) programme is available to both Deaf and hearing professionals.

Intial Assessment Date: Thursday 6th March 2014
