If you are good at Maths, are interested in accountancy. as a career and would like to develop your communication skills then this course will suit you.

AS Level Accounting

It is about measuring the performance of organisations and communicating that information to people who want or need to know (stakeholders - people who have some interest or share in the organisation). If you are good at Maths, are interested in accountancy
as a career and would like to develop your communication skills then this course will suit you.
What will I be doing?
unit 1: introduction to financial accounting
unit 2: financial and management accounting
How will I be assessed?
There are two exams at the end of your first year and another two at the end of your second year. Both AS unit exams last for an hour and thirty minutes each. The two A2 unit exams last for two hours each
Where do I go from here?
It is possible to study Accounting at degree level, but there are also many other courses that cover all aspects of business.
An Accounting qualification will help with any course which has financial content.
