About this course

A grade C in both Maths and English will be an essential requirement for this subject. As well as being expected to carry out numerical analysis, it will also be part of the assessment to provide a written analysis. Therefore, a good level of English will be required.

Economics combines well with a wide range of other A Levels, especially Business Studies, Accounting and Law. It is a useful preparation for anyone considering a management career or for those who simply want a better understanding of society.
The study of this subject will also be supported by Information Technology Key Skill lectures as an integral part of our A Level programme.
