Lifting Operations Awareness Train the Trainer: 2 Day

This course is designed to impart the necessary knowledge of all aspects of mechanical lifting operations including a combination of rigging and lifting and banksman / slinger techniques and presentation skills.

CONTENT: General Industry practice for safe crane operations; General Industry practice for safe rigging operations; Basic Principles for safe slinging operations; Planning of lifting operations; Risk assessment; Pre-use inspection of equipment; Equipment discard criteria; Lifting and landing of loads; Protection of load from rigging and the protection of slings from the load; Presentation skills; Delivery techniques; Lesson plans.

This course begins and ends with a written test paper and the successful delegates are issued with an NSL certificate of training.

PPE REQUIRED: Coveralls, hard hat, safety boots and gloves.
