Course Content
The course concentrates on developing basic skills in using the Spreadsheet software application - Microsoft Excel. The course is delivered through a number of units that provide clear step by step instructions on the various aspects of the software applied in creating, formatting and editing a range of documents. The course is made up of 10 and 20 hour units that demonstrate the key functionality of the software at this level. Online delivery of the course through the internet allows learners to access course materials, exercises and assessments at a time and place that suits the individual, without the need for travelling.

Currently there are 3 units/modules available, Spreadsheet Skills for Business - A (Optional), Spreadsheet Skills for Business - B (Optional), Applied Project in Spreadsheet Skills for Business (Mandatory).
Method of Assessment
All assessed work is submitted electronically to a designated e-tutor. Assessments are contextualized to demonstrate the practical applications of the skills learned in each unit.
