Literacy and Numeracy Fast track

Do you need to obtain a recognised qualification for work or to further your education? If you are confident in using basic English or Maths and want to improve your skills more quickly, you may have the opportunity to complete two levels in one year.

• Capable of learning at a challenging pace
• The commitment to practise at home

You could progress to the next level, subject to your ability. If you achieve at Level 2 then access to Further or Higher Education and employment opportunities may become more easily available to you.

Courses run for two 3 hour sessions a week.

Free courses starting in September 2009
Courses are free to home students who do not have a qualification at Level 2 or above - that is five GCSEs with grades A to C or equivalent. A fee applies for overseas students.
