Our LLB Law with International Relations course will challenge you to not only understand the law, but also to apply it and consider its impact on society on a global scale.

Our law courses are enhanced by our student-focused teaching approach, engaging tutorials and the opportunity to study legal areas that are of particular interest to you.

You’ll learn how to debate the law, to analyse its application to given situations and to apply your legal understanding in a national or international context, developing your professional skills through a series of extracurricular activities including client interviewing, negotiation and mooting.

About this course

Our LLB Law with International Relations course offers you the opportunity to study both core law subjects and international politics, developing a political perspective on law as a body of rules and the ability to tackle the fundamental issues of fairness, justice and equality that are at the heart of every society.

Our School of Law will provide you with a stimulating and supportive environment for undergraduate study. Members of our academic staff have international reputations for research and are experienced legal practitioners, providing consultancy to law firms, governments, non-governmental organisations and businesses around the world.

A Professional Training placement provides you with the opportunity to develop your professional, academic and personal potential, equipping you to be adaptable, resilient, globally minded, confident, entrepreneurial and digitally savvy in the workplace. These qualities are widely recognised by employers and many of our students are offered employment on graduation by their placement provider.

The Professional Training placement year gives our students an insight into their subject and career potential, and early access to professional experience. It can be invaluable in developing work-based skills and helping them secure a graduate career.

Applicants taking an A-level science subject with the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass the practical element.

Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted.

GCSE or equivalent: English Language at Grade C(4) and Mathematics at Grade C (4) (or equivalent).

LLB (Hons) - Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
The qualifying law degree is recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for the purposes of satisfying the academic stage of training.
