Steps into Work is designed for people with learning disabilities of 16 years old and above who want the opportunity to learn more about the world of work.
What qualifications or experience do I need ?No previous experience needed but should be working at Entry 3 level and have a desire to get paid employment following the programme.
What will I study ?As well as attending work skills tutorials students will undertake workshop weeks and three 11 week placements within Transport for London.
How will I be assessed ?Attending an assessment day where skills in ICT, Literacy & numeracy will be assessed as well as undertaking two practical activities. Whilst on the programme assessments will be made with information from review sessions and by completing Work Star assessment paperwork. What qualifications could I achieve ?BTEC Level 1 Work skills

Will I need an interview ?Yes, and an expression of interest application form needs to be completed.
