The course is intended to equip persons with the necessary skills to work in ports with limited services (non-declared VTS).
Course structure:
The content is theory based with case studies and simulator exercises.
This is a 21-hour course and candidates are expected to learn and apply the fundamentals and theory of Local Port Services.
Assessment procedure:
Satisfactory course completion is required
Entry requirements:
Candidates are expected to be working in a port offering Local Port Services
Qualifications achieved:
Successful candidates receive a college certificate.
