Mark will show you how to make a longbow from a single piece of wood.
Suitable for Adults - some wood working experience an advantage but not essential.
The day takes you through from picking your timber, marking out, shaping to finishing and tilloring your bow.
All equipment, materials, refreshments and lunch are provided, plus a longbow to take home (worth £200).

A "Longbow Archery Tuition Course", where clients can learn the craft and skills associated with shooting a real 6-foot Longbow can be arranged for groups.

About this course

The objective on the day is to produce a traditional English Longbow out of one single piece of timber.

The course is intended for anyone interested in making a traditional English Longbow. Experience with woodworking tools would be an advantage but is not necessary.

Make a longbow from a single piece of wood.

Picking your timber, marking out, shaping to finishing and tilloring your bow.

All equipment, materials, refreshments and lunch are provided, plus a longbow to take home (worth £200).

A "Longbow Archery Tuition Course", where clients can learn the craft and skills associated with shooting a real 6-foot Longbow can be arranged for groups.
All of the equipment, bows, arrows, gloves, safety, equipment and tuition using the English Longbows is supplied.

Additional information

All courses are taught by experienced craftsmen with years of practical experience.

In this case Mark is also an experienced archer.
