Aims Improve knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics of the lumbar spine and sacroiliac joint and relate it to pathology and dysfunction. To facilitate the development of clinical reasoning in the management of low back and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. To develop advanced manual skills in assessment of neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction of the lumbar spine and pelvis. To develop skills to assess the role of the soft tissues in lumbar spine and SIJ dysfunction To enable participants to develop the use of muscle energy techniques and functional muscle reconditioning in lumbar spine and SIJ dysfunction.
