It is so great my little girl got lessons as her birthday gift - and we ate her quiche the previous evening for dinner. Great and she is 10. I have done the night classes and have really made sushi a few times since and furthermore pasta... something I did not believe that I could ever do.. Much thanks to you.

  • I simply wished to praise everybody at the great Avenue cookery school who have taken my 18 year old boy Jack (who discovered breaking an egg troublesome two weeks prior) and propelled him to cook. He adored each moment and had a phenomenal time in such a casual and upbeat environment. I can not thank you enough and will prescribe you to everybody.

Who hasn't heard about those little french discs called "Macaron"? This evening class (7pm - 10pm) will teach you how to create this French delicatessen. We cannot forget to point out that they are gluten free and vegetarian!

As you can see the class will be held from 7 to 10pm. Because we know that is dinner time, we will make sure to please your appetite with homemade meals.

Our family-run cookery school puts its emphasis on creating relaxed and fun classes! Our aim is to teach people to understand food, to move away from the recipe-book, so they can whip-up delicious meals from whatever they find in the fridge!

Richard is Diana’s son, making The Avenue very much a family affair. His previous experience has included Chalet Hosting, prestigious Corporate Events and working as a chef in the South of France. Richard is a self-confessed Foodie, with an interest in modern cooking techniques. His flair for experimental cookery will certainly broaden your culinary horizons. Working extremely hard to share his enthusiasm with the students and push out the traditional boundaries, he is the youth and energy in the Kitchen.

Product Description

The ever so delicate and popular Macaron is a small circular French patisserie, typically made from ground almond and filled with a wide variety of fillings.

These incredibly fashionable delectable discs of deliciousness can be made in a plethora of forms, flavours and colours. It’s also worth mentioning that they are also Gluten Free and vegetarian.

This hands on class will start with a demonstration on how to master the Macaron and will finish with you being a Master of the Macaron.

As this course is going over dinner and because we love you and food so much we assure you that we’ll look after your appetite with some homemade Avenue goodies.
