Make your own wedding rings
What could be more personal, special and romantic than spending a day
in beautiful Cornwall and creating your own rings? This amazing experience
is available at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery. We welcome everyone
who's in love and wants to show it in this unique way - even complete
beginners.
We take photographs of you making your wedding rings too which are
included in the price. These could be some of the first photos in your
album, an exceptional record of a very special experience.
So what does the process involve? First we discuss in detail exactly what
you want for your rings. A fairly simple band ring can usually be made
from start to finish in one day even with no prior experience.
We can
advise you on cost and time if you want something more ornate or unusual.
Our classes are very 'hands-on' and all tools and materials are supplied.
You can choose to work in gold, silver or platinum.
The classes are suitable for men and women and you will be given careful
guidance on safety in the workshop. You can attend the class as a couple
or one of you can make both of your wedding rings.
The tutor is well
trained and qualified to teach jewellery making so you can relax and enjoy
the unique experience of making your own wedding rings.
Since you will
be given sole use of the workshop to make your wedding rings, your tutor
will be able to give you all the time and attention you need to ensure
that you get a good result.
We also undertake commissions if you
don't have enough time to make your own wedding rings.
The
cost for the couple to have exclusive use of the workshop for the day is
£350. In addition, you pay for the cost of the metal you use (i.e. gold,
silver or platinum). We will agree the cost and order the metal before you
start your course. We require payment for metals at the time of booking.
Digital
photos will be copied onto CD and given to you free of charge, so you can
print your own pictures.
You can also come here to make presents for
bridesmaids, family and helpers. Or you could treat them to gift
certificates so they can have their own classes.
