A CPD accredited course, an amazingly full programme available for anyone, anywhere in the world who wishes to learn how to make a range of body care, bath & SPA products. This distance learning course is broken down into four manageable modules, each of which guide you through the steps you need to take in order to produce the most beautiful range of products including scrubs, salves, wraps, bath fizz, melts, muffins, soaks, milks, teas, talcs and body oils. No experience necessary!

By the end of the course you will be able to

. Create a range of bespoke body care, bath and SPA products using a range of ingredients
. Understand the purpose, benefits and properties of each of the raw ingredients
. Identify the best ingredients to use for different conditions
. Design and formulate products

Your tutor will assist you throughout the course and will offer email support during the programme which will enable you to ask questions as and when they arise. Full written explanations, exercises, examples and other supporting documentation will be provided as part of the course material.

The course is broken down into four modules each of which ends in a short online quiz. Throughout the course you will be working on an assignment for submission to your tutor when you have completed the course. This course enables you to study at home without any time limit to pressure you. The course can take as little or as long as you wish, depending on the time you can set aside for learning.

All the ingredients including oils, butters, waxes, botanicals, salts*, essential / fragrance oils, colours, clays etc are included for you along with packaging ideas and containers.

As part of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we no longer automatically supply you with paper copes of the course notes. The course notes, tests and assignments are downloadable via our members area for you to access at home. If you prefer us to print and post you a paper version of the notes, there is a £20 handling charge for this service. Please contact us to arrange. this for you.

What Plush Folly will provide -
We will provide you with all the raw materials you need for this course although we don't send you water (floral water yes, tap or bottle water no!).

The ingredients we send you include a variety of oils, butters, waxes, essential oils, specialist ingredients, clays, colours and more, We will also provide you with packaging, full course notes, instructions, recipes, hints and tips. Please note that we recognise that you may already have some of the heavier or 'easy to purchase from the supermarket' ingredients and therefore we give you the option not to purchase these with your course. What you will need to provide -
You will need to provide all the equipment needed for ‘cooking’ your products. These include saucepans, glass jugs, heat source (gas or electric cooker), metric scales, spoons, protective clothing (rubber or latex gloves) and anything you need to clear up before and after making your products.

A printed certificate is issued to those who have successfully completed this course.
