About this course

The objective is to ensure delegates are aware of how to minimise the cost and time spent by corporations on churning out reams of meaningless data and spreadsheets and, on completion, will be better placed to ensure meaningful information flows throughout their organisation.

The course is of particular interest to those who create, receive and analyse management information. Delegates may be new to creating information in their organisation or experienced and involved in a change programme to create a new management information pack.

Information and data will be reviewed in future in a different way, as information to be analysed and engaged with, that acts as an early warning system, highlighting key issues and aiding decision making.
  • Ensuring the right data is captured initially, linked to company objectives
  • Assuming the right information is captured, the best way to display that information – both narrative and quantitative information
  • What works, what doesn’t work and why – looking at management information packs to determine best practice
  • Designing graphs and tables for effective communication
