MSC ( Management Standards Centre ) -National Occupational Standards Mandatory units ( total 27 credits) 1.DEVELOP A STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLAN 2.DEVELOP STRATEGIC DIRECTION AND LEADERSHIP 3.LEAD CHANGE IN AN ORGANISATION plus a further 18 credits must be achieved from selection from the optional units. Total required for full certification is 45 units! Suitable for: This is the new QCF Management Level 7 qualification! The Level 7 NVQ in Management is a cross-sector qualification. This means that this NVQ will be taken by people who are responsible for the control of activities and work output of other managers across a wide variety of areas, including NHS trusts, educational institutions, government departments and the private sector. Experienced leaders and senior management/Directors & CEOs who manage other managers etc.

About this course

Learners wil find it most useful if they have completed Level 5 or Level 6 qualifications and have to be in a position that enables the collection of evidence from their role/organisation etc. The Competence Based Qualification (CBQ) is not designed to be a progression award but candidates may go on to further study at the same and higher levels in the same or related subjects.

What I would highlight: Completely impressed with the service and the people that I came into contact with. No nonsense with total quality & care provided. An experience that was well worth the work and the support was invaluable. Serious knowledege provided and I genuinely learned and agree with colleagues they are experts in the field. What I would highlight: A worthwile experience - from initial investigations and chats through to arranged visits/meetings and then to producing work and then completion and certification I have been completely impressed and cannot but praise SDL highly enough. The development & change in myself is clear and I am very grateful to my assessor Steve who has been a constant source of support and inspiration. Learnt so much about myself, as well as following the course, that this is added vale and beneficial therapy!
