Course programme

Course description

Aimed at managers and supervisors within the transport function, this course provides training to equip
delegates with the knowledge to be effective in scheduling drivers of goods vehicles and addressing noncompliance,
thus protecting the operator's licence.

Objectives

The course objectives are to:
• cover legislation on drivers' hours and working time
• cover legislation on written records and tachographs (analogue and digital)
• enable delegates to see what the records reveal
• summarise the role of management in managing drivers' hours and records

Assessment

There is no formal assessment, however delegates will be encouraged to participate in practical exercises
throughout the day.

Certification

On completion of the course an FTA certificate of attendance will be issued.
