Introduction Who Should Participate:
The OCR Level 4 NVQ in Management of Learning and Development Provision is designed to reflect the work of those who have direct responsibility for the strategy and planning for learning and development in government funded work based learning environments. Candidates will also identify the learning and development needs of organisations and develop resources and programmes. Management of all resources required to implement the strategies and responsiblity for the health and safety of trainees will also be within the job role. Along with quality assurance of the learning and assessment taking place.
Course Units Key Objectives:
To achieve the qualification the candidate must complete eight units in total. These are drawn from six mandatory units and two optional units.
Mandatory units
· Develop a strategy and plan for learning and development
· Identify the learning and development needs of the organisation
· Evaluate and improve learning and development programmes
· Evaluate and develop own practice
· Develop a strategy and plan to provide all people resources for the organisation
· Manage the performance of teams and individuals
Optional Units
· Identify individual learning aims and programmes
· Design learning programmes
· Prepare and develop resources to support learning
· Manage the contribution of other people to the learning process
· Conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process
· Manage the use of financial resources
· Review health and safety procedures in workplaces
