The advanced management skills development course covers the following 5 modules, each one receiving assignments for you to complete.
Module 1 – Emotional Intelligence
- Identify personal strengths and weaknesses
- Identify strengths and weakness of others
- Analyse and present workplace signs of emotional intelligence
- Understand the benefits of emotional intelligence in the workplace
- Maintain self-motivation in challenging situations
- Understand the key stages in developing emotional intelligence
- Identify emotional triggers in self and others and respond accordingly
- Identify personal motivation factors that relate to themselves
- Maintain self-control and use awareness of others in decision-making
Module 2 – Change Management
- Understand the reasoning behind workplace changes
- Identify how people respond differently to change
- Consider barriers to change and why people resist
- Recognise techniques to successfully implement change
- Compare a variety of factors in problem solving
- Execute an action plan and take responsibility for it’s implementation
- Demonstrate best practice at times of change
Module 3 – Internal Customer Relationships
- Understand the communication process
- Identify barriers to communication from a number of perspectives
- Understand customer service best practice
- Understand the importance of workplace relationships
- Understand the key workplace relationships from a variety of perspectives
- Execute and action plan and take responsibility for it’s implementation
