Managing Continence This very personal and sensitive area is often handled clumsily by staff thus leading to clients' discomfort and humiliation.  This course will help participants understand some of the background factors to incontinence as well as help them understand the issues from a client's perspective.  Staff attitudes and practice will be examined and by the end of the course participants will understand the need for a sensitive approach as well as have the skills and knowledge required to deliver support in this area in a way that maximises respect and dignity
