Exploration of discrimination, stigmatised identities, legisislative changes and the significance of diversity in the workplace.
Learning, exploration and reflection on identity, sexuality, race, gender and difference. Understanding and developing 'cultural competence', enhancing coping strategies and improving service delivery.

Have increased knowledge of the impact of discrimination and it's influence within the workplace
Explore how to make your work and your organisation more culturally competent
Have increased knowledge and understanding of recent legislative changes affectiving diversity at work
Identify strategies on how to make your service more welcoming to people from all communities
Have increased awareness of the qualities and skills which will enhance your interpersonal relationships
How will I be taught?
We will create a supportive environment in which learning will be facilitated by a combination of learning methods, ie. mini lectures; pair work; group work and experiential exercises. The workshop is highly participatory with students being encouraged to draw upon existing skills, abilities and experiences as a starting point for new learning. Price: £895 for up to 10 delegates
