MANAGING A RISK ASSESSMENT (2 DAY COURSE)
ABOUT THE COURSE
This two day course is the second module in our training series relating to childcare and child protection assessments. Following many requests we offer practitioners the opportunity to explore the professional standards that must be considered when conducting a risk assessment.
The course guides participants through the process of setting up the work, on-going planning and evaluating, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, making recommendations, formalising decisions and understanding outcomes. It is a practice based course and delivered by experienced trainers who work in this field.
This two day course is suitable for all childcare professionals at a management/supervisory level that play a lead role when assessing the risk of harm to a child, within social services, health, education, early years, youth offending/youth justice teams, fostering and adoption, private and voluntary sectors, community, and the police.
