Understanding the cycle of stress, how negative thinking affects us, the types of control measures that we can use, how we can combat stress by putting in place coping strategies to manage stress effectively. Suitable for: In course one, we looked at what stress actually is, why we react negatively to stress and become 'distressed' and simple techniques for preventing negative stress. This course will look at the subject in more depth and determine how we can spot and manage stress in relation to the working environment. Firstly I will recap on the signs & sources of stress and then go on to talk about the cycle of stress, how negative thinking affects us, the types of control measures that we can use, how we can combat stress by putting in place coping strategies to manage stress effectively.
