General Information

This online course has been specifically designed to enable you to be a better volunteer leader, no matter what field of voluntary work you''re involved in. The pressures on voluntary workers have increased significantly over the last few years, in an ever more commercial environment where voluntary organisations are being required to improve efficiency. Research shows that up to 40% of voluntary organisations report a gap between their employees'' current skills and those they need to do their job. Management of volunteers is one of the key skills felt to be lacking. This course will help you address any gap in your organisation by equipping you with a variety of skills and knowledge of techniques developed to improve the volunteering experience for both the organisation and the volunteer.
