The Manicure and Pedicure Refresher course including Shellac application is designed for those wishing to refresh or update their manicure and pedicure skills, whilst at the same time incorporating Shellac, which is one of the latest innovations of Creative Nail Designs (CND). Shellac is a coloured gel, which is painted onto the nails and lasts up to 14 days. Successful students will be able to undertake manicures and pedicures including the Shellac application with confidence and will be registered with CND in order to be able to purchase Shellac products.

About this course

Anatomy and Physiology: If a valid accredited certificate is held, then this element will not be required.
Manicure: If a valid accredited certificate is held then this element will not be required.
Pedicure: If a valid accredited certificate is held then this element will not be required.

The fact that you will be able to use this fantastic hybrid gel which lasts up to 14 days. Together with the 7 day Vinylux which can be offered without the use of a gel lamp and base coat and a drying ability of 45 seconds.

A1. Yes you will get an internationally recognised certificate and be able to get insurance with a number of providers including the Guild which also offer a discount to our students.

A2. Yes once the tutor has qualified you in the use of Shellac & Vinylux you will receive through the post a Refresher Manicure Certificate from Bonheur Academy who in turn register you with Sweet Squared. You will then receive confirmation direct from Sweet Squared via email.

Qualified as teacher 2003 Lectured@ Bath College 2003/2004 Wrote my own courses and had them accredited 2004 with the Guild of Beauty Professionals Set up own Academy end 2004. / to present day. Now run over 33 different courses covering Beauty/Holistic and Nail Therapies. Since starting the Academy I have established a number of key relationships with product leaders such as Sweet Squared (CND) and Fake Bake which enables us uniquely to provide qualifications recognised by these and other industry leaders. Students will therefore not need to take additional product training.

Course review:

A Manicure course with SHELLAC Application Training which would allow successful candidates to Purchase CND SHELLAC, a liquid hybrid GEL. Coloured liquid GEL last up to 14 days and is scratch resistant. It is designed to candidates who want to refresh techniques or be able to offer SHELLAC application.
You will also be taught how to apply french application correctly. How to remove
the product correctly. How to include a gem or a little sparkle. How to apply colour correctly. We will now teach you the Vinylux application which requires no base coat. You will apply two coats of colour simultancely followed by a top coat all of which will dry thoroughly within 48 seconds.
