Manual Handling is an important Health & Safety issue within the UK. Handling will always be required, so training and raising awareness are necessary to reduce the risks associated with this activity. It is a requirement under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Manual Handling Regulations 1992 and Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 to ensure, where Manual Handling in the workplace is carried out, that we should where possible;
